WHAT IT’LL DO
Adapt your OEM T56 to any V8 Chevy 1955-2003 that has the standard bolt pattern. It will also fit 4 cyl., 6 cyl. and V6 engines that have the same bellhousing pattern. The kit will allow the use of performance flywheel and clutch combo that will fit your engine.
The clutch disc must have 1 1/8 - 26 spline hub to fit the T-56 trans., this is a common disc available in 10" thru 11" sizes. The flywheel can be up to 168 teeth and in most cases your existing block mounted starter will work. The release bearing will operate with any 1” bore master cyl. that can be mounted on your car. The drive shaft will need to be shortened about 2 ” - 3" depending on your existing trans.
